History: Born to an Irish Father and Mexican Mother, Kennedy inherited nothing in her name of her mother's heritage but has a darker skintone and knows her culture, both sides. Her parents are no longer together and she lives with her father and stepmother, and step sister. Her father was the head of a Building Company in their family since not long after the Irish Famine his ancestors having emigrated. They are known as one of the wealthier New York families. With a summer home in the Hamptons. She has known she was gay since the age of five. Having wanted to sweep Scarlett O'Hara off her feet being a dead giveaway Kennedy was called as a Potential at 13 after a few Slayers had died in quick sucsession. And it was the money, Kennedy's foot stomping refusal to leave her family, and mostly the case of Buffy Summers that persuaded the council to let her Watcher stay with the family. He was given rooms and there was no expense spared on her training. Thats why Kennedy is good at what she does. She has trained all her teenage life to be the Slayer. And more importantly she had gotten what she wanted. That happened a lot. By the time she was 18, when most Slayers have already begun and likely died, she had still not been called. A fact that infuriated her to no end. It was when she saw her Watcher die. Killed by Bringers that she knew being called was not the most important thing. Living was. So Kennedy fled to Sunnydale, to Buffy Summers. The Chosen One. She is pushy, bratty and annoying at first but actively pursues a relationship with Willow, deciding she wants her, and she always gets what she wants. She trains in Sunnydale to fight the Battle being a vocal, if bratty supporter of Potentials getting to fight. She supports Willow in her attempt to activate all Potential Slayers. Afterwards Kennedy joins Buffy and the other Potentials in the final battle against the First Evil's army of Turok-Han as a fully-activated Slayer. With Sunnydale destroyed she went with Willow to live in Brazil and for a while things were happy. Until she died...well...sort of...mysticaly. Only for a short time. But Kennedy did not take it well and as a result the relationship cooled slightly. This cooling continued when Kennedy felt Willow was keeping her from her friends.She thinks it is because she is ashamed of her, which prompts Willow to reveal that she blames herself for Tara's death by keeping her close to Buffy and therefore danger. Willow then states that she refuses to let that happen to Kennedy. This bothers Kennedy and for a while she suggests a break. Before coming to LA she is directing an army of slayers in New York, along with Vi. But she has been hearing disturbing rumours of a Tokyo Vampire Gang killing Slayers. Killing a LOT of Slayers. So she comes to LA. To see why Buffy Summers and Faith Lehane have been sitting on their asses while girls have been dying. Or at the very least to see why one city needs two Slayers. Least of all the two with the most experiance of any of them. | ||||||||||
